Project Description

Veterinary Surgeon

Dr Arianna is originally from Laguna Beach, California, and has been in Australia for over 4 years. Before starting the DVM program at the University of Sydney, she completed a bachelor’s degree in Marine biology at Stetson University in Florida. She has been working with marine life since she was 14 years old and has a passion for ocean conservation and studying marine mammal cognition and behaviour. While marine mammals are her passion, she enjoys working with creatures of all sizes and is thoroughly enjoying working as a small animal veterinarian. She has a wide range of interests within the veterinary world but has found a particular interest in the field of anaesthesia and pain management.

On an average day in the clinic, it’s highly likely to find her cuddling a cat, as she proudly takes the roll of the clinic’s crazy cat lady. She finds great joy in rehabilitating and adopting out stray kittens to loving homes.

In her free time, she enjoys horse riding and trips to the beach with her husband Brendan and kelpie puppy Scarlet.
